Laser Safety Goggles

Due to its physical properties, laser radiation is primarily a risk to the eyes of all persons in the danger zone. To protect them the use of special optical filters, the so-called laser protection filters, is necessary. These, when properly selected, are filtering the dangerous “artificial” energy part of the radiation, passing only the natural “normal” part. Because each laser always emits one or more specific wavelengths, it requires filtering technology and protection levels adapted to that wavelength and laser energy. All products of the BiAxis Laser Series include two Laser Safety Goggles M01-33 as standard. All frame models listed below have the identical protective filter function, are CE-approved and come from the country of origin USA. On special request also an alternative frame model can be selected:

• • Adjustment of the glasses to the appropriate eyesight of the user.
    Note: Established models often have the disadvantage for eyeglass wearers that they are worn over their own glasses and therefore can cause problems for users in handling. In addition, the frames can be adapt to your personal dioptric values. For this lens inlets are clicked into the the above listed frame models, which can also be easily removed after use in order to make the laser safety goggles usable for other users. Please note this before your purchase decision! *
  • Removability of the lens inlets which allows the use of glasses with contact lenses.*
  • Adjusting the protective filters for the above listed frame models allowing the use for other laser wavelengths.
